The Texas Transportation Energy Data Book is a statistical data base which contains information regarding the transportation energy characteristics of Texas. This volume is divided into five chapters. Chapter 1 compares energy related transportation statistics of Texas with seven other comparable states. Chapter 2 provides a snapshot of the Texas transportation energy picture. Energy characteristics of the highway and non-highway modes are found in Chapters 3 and 4, respectively. Chapter 5 concludes this volume and furnishes information about alternative fuels and new energy saving technology
