UT-Austin – Advanced Institute for Transportation Infrastructure Engineering and Management

The Advanced Institute for Transportation Infrastructure Engineering and Management was established at the University of Texas with funding from the U.S. Department of Transportation to create a center for excellence in the preparation of the Nation’s future professional leaders in the transportation sector.  Full and partial fellowships, ranging from $1,000-12,000 per year are available through the Institute for qualified U.S. citizens and permanent residents committed to a career in transportation.  Partial fellowships of $3,000 to $5,000 may be added to a research assistantship to provide a very attractive package for outstanding prospects.  In addition, Institute fellows receive full tuition payment and travel support to attend technical and professional conferences.  Masters’ candidates are the primary target of this program, with limited partial fellowships available for doctoral candidates, as well as selected undergraduate opportunity fellowships.
